Each of the three included cymbals boasts a large playing surface of 10 inches, so you'll never miss a beat. The bass drum and hi-hat are controlled by responsive foot pedals that can be folded and stowed away when not in use, while the adjustable stool and headphones provide comfort for musicians of all ages. The Debut Kit is based on a multifunctional sound module. It includes 10 classic and modern drum presets specially designed by Alesis. These kits contain 120 individual drum sounds and utilize Intelligent Dynamic Articulation™ technology to deliver incredibly realistic sound and playability. The Sound Module can be connected to an external sound system or amplifier, such as the Alesis Strike Amp 8 (sold separately), using the stereo ¼-inch outputs, or you can plug in headphones for a truly quiet practice experience. The Debut Kit sound module also features a virtual drumming coach, including 30 tracks to play along to, as well as specially designed rhythmic exercises to help develop and improve your skills. In addition, there is an additional ⅛” input that allows you to play to your favorite tunes from your phone or tablet.

Combined with Melodics, you get 60 free lessons for your PC or tablet. Melodics is a program that will help you improve your rhythmicity, expand your drumming vocabulary, and make your Alesis drumming exercises fun and effective.
